British(ONS): Early release of indicators with big data-calculated one month earlier

UK National Bureau of Statistics (ONS): “Data Science Campus”
On April 15, we released the first quarter (January to March) economic activity indicators analyzed using big data.
It can release new economic activity indicators about one month earlier than traditional economic indicators such as GDP.
The “data science campus” of ONS is working on economic statistics and early publication in the UK from 2016.

Traffic condition of freight car
Lead the economic trend index using big data.
From the traffic situation and port data in the future
An indicator of how goods are moving or
Analyze the VAT data and calculate the gross value added (GVA),
Aim to publish indicators that reflect the economic structure.
