💡AIST: Developed a compact sensor that can repeatedly detect the occurrence of formaldehyde
In collaboration with AIST, NIMS has developed a compact sensor that can continuously monitor formaldehyde, which causes sick house syndrome.

Traditionally, it was necessary to replace the detection tag for each measurement, but continuing monitoring by changing the conductivity when exposed to formaldehyde and developing a sensor material whose conductivity returns to its original value with clean air It is realized.

Combined with smartphones and others, it is expected to realize a system that constantly detects the generation of formaldehyde gas.
