AIST: Confirm biodegradability of super growth single wall carbon nanotube

Quantitative evaluation of carbon nanotube uptake into cells by near infrared light absorption measurement method
We discovered that Super Growth Single Wall Carbon Nanotube (SGCNT) is biodegraded
It suggests that SGCNT is biodegraded to reduce the amount of active oxygen generation and toxicity to cells is reduced
