A collision avoidance system is installed in a medium size unmanned aerial vehicle at “Fukushima Robot Test Field”

We conducted the detection performance test for the first time in the world.

Collision avoidance test

“Pre-designed route” is set

This year: Medium-sized drones carry out tests to fly avoiding manned helicopters (in the air). Successful .

Next year: Medium drone plans to test autonomously avoid collision avoiding manned helicopter (in flight).

Unmanned aerial vehicle

Equipped with quasi-zenith satellite system compatible receiver

Detect object properly (manned helicopter) during flight

We confirmed the normal operation of the collision avoidance system.
