-Eliminate overseas parts and strengthen security-

Industrial drone
ACSL

Developed a small aerial drone “SOTEN” and started accepting orders.

NEDO project:

Developed by ACSL based on the research and development results of “Safe and Secure Drone Fundamental Technology Development”.

Enhanced security:

We adopted security measures based on ISO 15408 and realized resistance to aircraft takeover.

Prevents data leakage and extraction,
Encryption of communication / shooting data,
Management in the domestic cloud, etc.

We are strengthening security.

The main parts are domestic products or highly reliable products procured from overseas.

Wide range of camera choices:

Adopted the first one-touch switching method of the camera as a small aerial photography drone.

Standard camera,
Infrared camera + visible camera,
Multispectral camera,

Can be replaced with an optical zoom camera (under development).

SOTEN performance:

Maximum airspeed is 15m / s.

Equipped with performance that can withstand harsh environments such as disasters.

You can grasp highly accurate location information in Japan.

Equipped with SLAS / SBAS (quasi-zenith satellite / submeter-class positioning augmentation service).

Investigation in a disaster, etc.
Even when you need to know accurate location information
You can take off and land safely.

SOTEN features:

LTE communication
It is possible to operate the drone via the Internet by LTE communication.

Non-visual flight (Level 3)
Unassisted non-visual flight (Level 3) is possible by automatic flight in remote areas such as mountainous areas and plants.

Utilization of offline map
Even in an environment where the Internet is not available, you can display an offline map on the base station app and let the drone fly automatically.

Inspection of infrastructure equipment
We have also developed a mount for mounting the camera on the top of the aircraft. It is also possible to take inspection images of infrastructure equipment from below

body size
When the arm is deployed 637 x 560 mm,
162 x 363 mm when the arm is stored.

weight
1.7kg (including standard camera and battery).

Maximum flight time
22 minutes with standard battery (when equipped with standard camera, wind speed 8m / s condition)

Chinese drone “DJI”
Countries, including the United States, are moving to eliminate or restrict usage because of security risks.

Japanese goverment
In September 2020, drone procurement was limited to security-guaranteed ones.

About drones that have already been introduced
The policy of quick replacement was announced.

Japan unveils hacker-proof drones

Five Japanese firms
have teamed up to build drones they say cannot be hijacked or have their data stolen.

Japan’s industry ministry commissioned the project.

It has been encouraging domestic production in a market that is dominated by a single Chinese firm.

The participants include
Yamaha Motor,
NTT Docomo and
drone startup ACSL.

The government plans to use the small, four-rotor device

to survey the damage at disaster sites and to inspect the country’s infrastructure.

The firms also plan to sell the drones commercially.
