At a fishing port in Echizen-cho, Fukui Prefecture, two deep-sea fish,Regalecus, were found.

“It’s unusual to swim in pairs, and there’s no precedent we’ve been able to shoot,” said a representative.
“Regalecus”:
The sex is unknown, and each is about 4 meters long.
It features an elongated white silver body and a red dorsal fin.
The ecology is a mystery, and it is said that it lives in the deep sea below 200m deep.
