On March 9, Teijin Pharmaceuticals received a request from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare for the supply of tuberculosis.
The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare will consider it as a new treatment for coronavirus infection.
Teijin Pharma has already obtained manufacturing and marketing approval as an inhaled steroid asthma treatment (generic name: ciclesonide).
