In Thailand, the recovery rate of those infected with the new coronavirus has reached 87%.

He explained that Thai was taking antiviral drugs at an early stage.

He is confident that he is “confident that it will work” through measures taken by the Thai health authorities.

In Thailand, as of 24th, 2854 people were confirmed infected and 2490 people were cured.

Somsak Medical Director:

Seven types of antiviral drugs are being administered depending on the patient’s symptoms.

In Thailand, 6 kinds of antiviral drugs are procured.

About the anti-influenza drug “Abigan”,

“We have secured sufficient inventory with the cooperation of the importing sources, Japan and China,” he said.

COVID-19 patients:

Divide into 3 groups according to symptoms

Asymptomatic infected people: without antiviral drugs,
Mild people: Uses other than Avigan,
Critically ill: Administering Avigan.

“We have received reports from doctors in various regions that the earlier a drug is administered, the faster the recovery,” said Somsak.

Ministry of Public Health:

From the initial stage of the spread of infection, he continued his research with specialists in hospitals and related organizations.

Based on the treatment methods of other countries and domestic experience, we have established a unique guideline that includes early administration.

It was put into practice without going through clinical trials.

In Thailand, the number of infected people increased by 100 or more from late March to early April, but it will remain below 20 after 21st.
