COVID-19: ‘Avigan’ recovers 70% of minors in 7 days: Wuhan University, China

COVID-19:

The Wuhan University team in China has compiled the results of the ‘Avigan’ research by March 23.

The influenza drug Avigan is effective in treating patients with pneumonia infected with the new coronavirus.

‘Avigan’ research results:

The recovery rate within 7 days after administration of ‘Avigan’ exceeded 70% for only mildly ill patients.

Most disappeared in four days.

According to the team, “Avgigan” is a promising drug, saying “early symptoms are important for people with chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.”

Chinese Government Medical Policy:

China has already stated that it will adopt Avigan in its government practice policy.

Clinical results of the research team:

From February to March, the team administered Avigan to 116 patients over the age of 18 at three hospitals, including the same hospital.

They took the tablet within 12 days after symptoms such as fever and cough.
