Iwatani Industry: A major gas manufacturer

On April 3, announced that the first Japanese company started operating hydrogen stations in the United States.

Germany’s Messer Group acquires four stations operated in California.

We plan to develop around 20 locations in the next few years.

Mitsui & Co .: A major trading company

Announced the start of collaboration with the largest US company First Element Fuel.

The company develops and operates hydrogen stations in California.

California Fuel Cell Partnership: (CaFCP)

The state of California is working with fuel cells (FCV) with industry.

As of the end of March 2019, FCV sales in the province were 6,315. More than double the sales volume of Japan.

However, the number of hydrogen stations is one third of Japan (39 only)

California passed the 2018 bill (see article October 1, 2018).

The plan is to cover 100% of the state’s power consumption by renewable energy and non-greenhouse gas energy by 2045.

In addition, CaFCP also announced plans to set up 1,000 hydrogen stations by 2030.
