MHI: Macau LRT, opening of business: Automated Guideway Transit: AGT

MHIENG: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engineering

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engineering has built a new 9.3km route in Macau and delivered 110 vehicles.

MHIENG has received an order from the Macau Special Administrative Region government in China.

Macau LRT: Automated Guideway Transit: AGT

Construction of a fully automated driverless vehicle system (Automated Guideway Transit: AGT) for the Macau LRT (Light Rapid Transit (Note)) has been completed.

Delivery completed to Macau Government in September this year.

Commercial operation started on December 10 and the opening ceremony was held.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group: Delivery scale

The Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group has worked on 14 overseas routes.

This AGT construction work was supported by ITOCHU Corporation.

This is an order received from the Government of Macau Special Administrative Region Government and Transport Funding Office (GIT).

MHIENG:

AGT vehicles (110 cars),
Signal and train control equipment,
Power supply facilities, communication systems,
Tracks, maintenance equipment,
We worked on home doors and fee machines.
We have also received orders for overhaul maintenance contracts for vehicles for five years after opening.
