France: Gender wage gap index released-Mandatory for companies over 50 people

“Executive Order on Correcting Wage Disparity between Men and Women”:
In France, the “Execution Order on Correcting Wage Disparity between Men and Women” took effect on January 1.
Companies with 50 or more employees are obligated to publish the wage gap index between men and women every year.
Results shall be published on the Internet.
Company of more than 1,000 employees March 1,
More than 250 people will be on September 1st.
For more than 50 people, the deadline is March 1, 2020.
Gender inequality index:
- The inequality index is based on the following five factors, with an upper limit of 100 points.
- Whether there is a wage gap between men and women according to job content and age category (40 points)
- Eliminate disparities in pay increases individually between men and women (20 points for companies with 250 employees or more, 35 points for less than 250)
- Eliminate the promotion gap between men and women (only for employees with more than 250 employees: 15 points)
- Grant of increase in salary during maternity leave on return to work after maternity leave (15 points)
- Number of women in top 10 salaries (10 points)
