Apple and pear: (HS code 0808)

Currently, the only fruits and vegetables that can be exported from Japan to the Philippines are apples and pears (HS code 0808) that have phytosanitary conditions.

In the top four countries (see table) of the import value of apples and pears in the Philippines, imports from China are larger than in other countries.

This time the export product: yellow apple called Toki

The cultivar exported this time is a yellow apple called Toki, which has a weak acidity and sweetness, and is characterized by an early shipment period from October to November.

Toki is a favorite flavor of Filipinos and is shipped early.

He said he decided to export to the Philippines because he thought that if she sold Toki in November, she could secure shelves for sales ahead of her peers.
