Oyster exports: Mie prefecture-produced export of active oysters – Singapore approves
Mie Prefecture announced on 14th, “The export of Mie Prefecture-made oyster for Singapore was lifted.”
The Government of Singapore consulted with the Japanese government a hygiene certificate (attached at the time of export).
The Japanese government approved the export of active oyster on 12th.
Singapore has a culture of eating oysters just like in Japan.
Consumption by oyster bar etc.
Singapore has already imported active oysters from eight countries including the United States, Canada and Australia.
