It is a component of an alternator that has the function of converting AC power into DC.

The high efficiency greatly reduces the power loss that occurs when converting from AC to DC.
The power generation efficiency of the alternator is improved by about 6%, contributing to fuel efficiency improvement.

If all are switched to high efficiency diodes, it is possible to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) by 30 tons annually.
