Mazda, Toyota, Manufacturing, USA (MTMUS) is constructing a plant in Alabama, USA.
The expansion of MTMUS suppliers is continuing.
Toyota Boshoku announces establishment of new plant on April 10 (see article on April 17, 2019)
Daikyo Nishikawa: May 14 announced new plant establishment
YKTA: announced the establishment of a new plant on May 22 (a joint venture of Toyota Industries, Wytec, and Key Rex)
Daikyo Nishikawa:
Mazda’s auto parts manufacturer.
The first supplier to advance to MTMUS adjacent to Huntsville, Alabama.
Operation started for MTMUS plant from 2021.
Production of large plastic parts such as bumpers and instrument panels.
The investment is $ 110 million, employs approximately 380 people, and has an annual turnover of $ 190 million.
YKTA: Joint venture between Toyota Iron Works and Mazda affiliated Ytech and Key Rex (Note)
A joint venture (Note) with Toyota affiliated Toyota Toyota Iron Works, Mazda affiliated Waitec, and Key Rex (*) establishes Waitec Key Rex Toyotests Alabama (YKTA).
Constructed a parts plant in the area adjacent to MTMUS.
Invests about $ 220 million, employs approximately 650 people, and produces body shell and chassis parts from 2021.

In 2018, the state’s total expansion and new investment hit an all-time high of $ 8.7 billion.
Foreign companies invest $ 4.2 billion.
