Russia: ZETTA is the first EV commercial production-EV “L panda”

For the first time in Russia, commercial production of electric vehicles (EV) will begin.

EV “El Panda”:
Three-door four-wheeled, hatchback passenger car for urban use.

Drive is equipped with a motor in the wheel
It is an “in-wheel motor” type and equipped with an antilock brake system (ABS) and an anti-slip device (ESP).
The maximum speed is 120 km / h
It can travel 200 to 560 km with one charge.

Sales start time is December. Assumed selling price is 450,000 rubles (approximately 765,000 yen, 1 ruble = approximately 1.7 yen)
99% of the parts are made in Russia. Battery only made in China (made by GE Power Technology).
Production capacity:
It will be done at its own plant in Tolyatti. The production capacity is 10,000 a year.
It will expand to 10 units in 2019, 2,000 units in 2020, and 10,000 units in 2021.
Half are exported to the domestic market, the rest to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kuwait, Jordan, North African countries, etc.
