GM: Major investment announced in Detroit-4th generation cruise AV production

US General Motors (GM):
Began preparations for fourth-generation cruise AV production at the Orion Township plant outside Detroit.
Invested $ 300 million and announced to hire 400 new employees.
The plant is the production base for GM’s only EV “BOLT” and the small passenger car “Sonic”.
In the future, production of an autonomous vehicle “4th generation cruise AV” is planned.
