Tanaka Engineering (Tanaka EG) has received an order for parts for the ‘H3 Rocket’.

Tanaka EG obtained JISQ9100 certification in 2014, which is essential in aerospace related business.

In 2015, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. acquired quality management system certification (machine processing subcontract).

We have received an order from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for the parts of the ‘H3 rocket’.

  1. Engine parts including fuel injection parts that contribute to optimization of the mixing ratio of hydrogen and oxygen in the ‘H3 rocket’
  2. Aircraft valve parts that control the pressure regulation and exhaust pressure of hydrogen and oxygen

Aerospace components: Sales

As a result of this order, sales of Tanaka EG and aerospace components increased to 7% of the parts manufacturing business.

Going forward, we will aim for more than 10% of the parts manufacturing business, taking orders not only for rockets but also for aircraft parts.

Tanaka Engineering is a group company of Tanaka Seimitsu Kogyo, which mainly manufactures engine parts for Honda.
