Toshiba: Demonstration of quantum cryptographic communication technology: Genome analysis data
Toshiba:
Tohoku Medical (ToMMo), Tohoku University Hospital:
We have constructed a system applying quantum cryptographic communication technology for genomic medicine and clinical sequences.
A doctor can simultaneously refer to and analyze cancer patient/genome analysis information and genome analysis data.
Quantum cryptographic communication technology safely transmits two types of data for online conference information.
Clinical sequence:
We will verify the genomic data of patients whose gene sequences were analyzed using an ultra-fast next-generation sequencer.
It is a new test method in the field of genomic medicine, where the results are used by doctors and other experts to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and the selection of treatment strategies.
The results of this time will be useful for applying quantum cryptographic communication technology to genomic medicine and establishing safe and secure genomic medicine.
Technology of this achievement and proof contents:
International conference will be held from August 10th to 14th.
We will present at QCrypt 2020 (10th International Conference on Quantum Cryptography).
