Recently, we have sent and received sample data of electronic medical records by quantum cryptography.

NICT uses the quantum cryptography network “Tokyo QKD Network” that has been in operation since 2010.

Combined with modern encryption AES (Advanced Encryption Standard).

This makes it difficult to decipher even with a quantum computer, and realizes highly secure and confidential communication.
