France LVMH: 50% stake in luxury champagne US company: ARMAND DE BRIGNAC

On February 22, it announced that it would invest in the US operating company of the luxury champagne “Arman de Brignac”.

The market contracted due to the new coronavirus disease.

ARMAND DE BRIGNAC:

ARMAND DE BRIGNAC is a high-class champagne that is sold for tens of thousands of yen or more.

Known for the logo with the letter A on the playing card spade.

US rapper Jay-Z owns 100% of the operating company.

LVMH subsidiary Moe Hennessy will buy 50% of the operating company.

The amount of investment has not been announced.

In 2022, we will use Moe Hennessy’s sales network to sell in Japan and other parts of the world.

A bottle of high-class champagne over 100 euros (12,700 yen) sells 7 million bottles a year worldwide.

LVMH holds a share of about 5 million of them.
