Kansai Paint Co., Ltd (Head office: Osaka City, President: Hiroshi Ishino) has investigated various options of
not only capital alliance but mutual cooperation for paint and paint related business.
This time Mitsui & Co. Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Tatsuo Yasunaga) has agreed to
newly participate in an investment with Kansai Helios Coatings GmbH (Head office: Vienna, Austria, CEO:
Hubert Culik, Davis Kubala), a subsidiary of Kansai Paint and concluded the relevant agreements including a
shareholders agreement.
The investment ratio will be 80% Kansai Paint and 20% Mitsui.Posted on April 17, 2018
