JFE Technos: Output 100kW / Ultra-rapid charger : CHAdeMO2.0 certified

JFE Engineering / JFE Technos:
This time, we have developed a 100kW / super fast charger.
Charging time is halved compared to conventional products, and charging capacity is further improved.
Sales are scheduled to start in the first half of FY2020.
Cost performance improvement:
JFE Technos has been selling 50kW / fast chargers so far.
This time, the lineup includes an “ultra-rapid charger equipped with a large capacity battery with an output of 100 kW”.

Ultra-fast charger with built-in storage battery (maximum output 100kW).

Electricity basic charge: 70% reduction
With the help of the built-in storage battery, power reception can be reduced to 50kW or less.
Compared to general high-voltage power reception contracts, the basic power charge can be reduced by 70% (low-cost low-voltage power reception contracts possible)
JFE Technos:
In September 2011, we succeeded in developing the world’s first ultra-rapid charger with built-in storage battery.
Since then, 160 50kW battery built-in quick chargers have been sold.
Completed demonstration of newly developed models within FY2019.
We will obtain CHAdeMO certification in the first half of 2020 and sell it nationwide.
