🚖ISUZU: Japan’s first large-scale LNG truck to begin monitoring

Isuzu Motors Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo) commissioned development and demonstration projects of large-scale LNG trucks and optimal fuel-charging infrastructure as part of the Ministry of the Environment’s efforts to strengthen measures to reduce CO2 emissions, We have been promoting the development of trucks.

We have produced two large LNG trucks, and together with Shell Japan Co., Ltd., a coordinator of environment-friendly car promotion, we started Japan’s first L (LNG) + CNG station from the beginning of June 2018, Monitoring run by Japan’s first carriers will begin.

LNG has high energy density of fuel and excellent installation efficiency, so this large LNG truck secures cruising distances of over 1,000 km and shortens filling time.
