🏆Investment Trust Net Assets in Japan Hit Record in 2017 .
Tokyo, Jan. 17 (Jiji Press)–Net assets of publicly offered investment trust funds in Japan totaled 111,192.0 billion yen at the end of 2017, hitting a record high for the first time in two years, industry data showed Wednesday.
The assets grew 15.1 pct from a year before on higher investment returns thanks to high stock prices globally, as well as increased purchases of exchange-traded funds by the Bank of Japan, the Investment Trusts Association said.
