Kona Electric:
A fire of unknown cause broke out at Kona Electric, which was charging, at around 4:11 pm on January 23.
An accident occurred at a shared electric vehicle charger of a taxi company in Yucheon-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu.
It was difficult to extinguish the fire due to the danger of the lower part of the electric vehicle and the battery part.
The fire was completely extinguished by the fire authorities as of 8:00 pm on the same day.

The automaker is upgrading its battery management system (BMS)
to increase the sensitivity of charging, and is replacing batteries if abnormal signs such as voltage deviation are found between battery cells.
