💰GPIF, increase investment income from October to December
The Government Pension Fund (GPIF) announced that it raised investment income of 6,549.9 billion yen from October to December of last year and gained profit for the sixth consecutive term.
Investment yield in the third quarter of 2017 was 3.92% as a result of strong corporate earnings due to the global economic expansion.
Three quarters from April · Investment income is 15,121.9 billion yen, which is a record high compared with 15,229.2 billion yen in FY 2014. The yield over the nine months was 10.7%.
