Hydrogen engines for large-scale power generation have low power and thermal efficiency compared to natural gas engines, and there are technical problems that many nitrogen oxides (NOx) are generated during high load operation.

We established a new combustion method for hydrogen fuel with a small engine for testing and successfully developed the world’s first large spark-ignited hydrogen engine that can realize high output, high heat efficiency and low NOx as a large engine.

Hydrogen is expected to contribute to the prevention of global warming and conservation of the atmosphere by using hydrogen for fuels for large power generation and marine engines.
