AIST: Successful fabrication of world’s lowest noise organic transistor

Point of presentation

  1. Developed a technology to quantify trap density which causes noise of organic transistor with high sensitivity
  2. Succeeded in fabricating the lowest noise organic transistor in the world by locating the cause of noise remaining even in a single crystal and removing the cause
  3. With low noise of organic transistors that can be fabricated by application, it is expected to realize inexpensive and highly sensitive sensor devices supporting the IoT society.
