Today, we have decided to adopt NEC as a “5G” communication base station / radio vendor.
In cooperation with NEC, announced that we have decided to build a 5G open vRAN (virtualized RAN).
5G radio: small size, light weight, low power consumption
It is equipped with a super multi-element antenna (Massive MIMO antenna) of 3.7 GHz band frequency.

Along with providing various 5G services of 3.7 GHz band frequency,
Deploy 5G service in combination with 28 GHz band frequency.
Rakuten Mobile:
In April 2019, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications approved the establishment plan of a specific base station for the introduction of 5G.
Aim to launch 5G service in June 2020.
