Tokio Marine: pitch event in Israel: Insuring the Future-Startup Challenge 2020

Tokio Marine Holdings:
On January 7, a startup / pitch contest “Insuring the Future-Startup Challenge 2020” was held in Tel Aviv, Israel.
In this contest, 60 companies applied.
Six finalists were selected through preliminary document screening.
“Insuring the Future-Startup Challenge 2020”:
On the day, two companies were selected from three divisions: mobility, healthcare, and agritech.
A total of six startups are pitching.

As a result of the judging, one company in each section won a total of three companies.
The three startups have acquired the right to perform PoC (proof of concept).
3 winners: Start-up companies
• Mobility division:
Voom Insurance, on-demand insurance for micromobility
• Healthcare:
Neurotech Solutions [Evaluation and monitoring system using artificial intelligence (AI) such as NeuroTech Solutions, ADHD (lack of attention, hyperactivity)]
• Agritech division:
PlanetWatchers (satellite resource and crop monitoring system)
Tokio Marine / Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services
In July 2019, formed a business alliance with Harel Insurance Investments and Financial Services, which has the largest non-life insurance company in Israel.
Cyber security,
Healthcare,
Agriculture,
Automatic driving, etc.
Agreed to search for startups and technologies.
