According to the Funds Circulation Statistics of the April-June quarter by the Bank of Japan, the balance of financial assets owned by households was 1832 trillion yen as of the end of June, an increase of 4.4% compared to the previous year.
As for the holding status of government bonds, BOJ, which is continuing to purchase large-scale government bonds, went to 437 trillion yen, and continues to be the largest holding company. The share of the total outstanding JGBs was 40.3%. Overseas holdings amounted to 117 trillion yen, composition ratio was 10.8%.
