💡Hitachi develops real-time control technology for cold rolling mills utilizing AI for steel plants
Digitize expert know-how of skilled labor and contribute to improvement of operability and quality
In the development of this technology, we began demonstration experiments applying the technology to the actual machine from August 2017 at the Beijing Shaolin Steel Corporation’s Ruku Steel Works, and we were able to confirm the effectiveness of this technology.
Hitachi intends to offer products utilizing this technology from March 2018 to steel plants. In the future, Hitachi will promote commercialization of the control system utilizing this technology, and as the solution core of the IoT platform “Lumada”, we will consider business development in other industrial fields, including for steel plants.
