Japan: February 2020 new car sales: 10% decrease, minus for 5 consecutive months

The number of registered cars and mini cars was sluggish, down 10.3% year-on-year to 430,185 units.

It is the fifth consecutive month from October 2019 that is lower than the same month last year.

And in the last five months, the rate of decrease has been two digits.

Except for the compact SUV / Daihatsu, which has a new model effect (up 48.1%), all fell below the previous year’s results.
