Japan : January 2020 New vehicle sales: 11.7% decrease yoy, waiting for new models

The number of new vehicles sold in January (including mini vehicles) was announced on February 3.
It was 360,103 units, down 11.7% year-on-year.
Down for the fourth consecutive month.
Before the launch of new models, there was a noticeable move to refrain from purchasing.
Sales of registered cars fell 11.1% to 221,464 units.
Honda:
Honda (7267) fell for the fourth consecutive month, down 34.6%.
Many customers waited for the launch of the new Fit in February.
Toyota:
With the launch of the new Yaris in February, Toyota (7203) fell 4.0%.
Nissan:
Nissan Motor (7201) fell 33.2% for the 14th consecutive month since December 2018.
