Japanese companies are successively becoming “WIPO @ GREEN” / partner companies, and are releasing their patents.

“WIPO @ GREEN”: Release of Environmental Technology Patent

We have begun to actively participate in environmental technology / extension activities led by UN agencies.

Until the end of November 2019, two Japanese companies were registered: Fujitsu and Teijin.

Until February 7, 8 companies increased to a total of 10 companies.

About “WIPO @ GREEN”:

Founded and operated by WIPO in 2013.

IBM and Siemens are partner companies.

This is a place where partner companies register and publish environmental technologies and match with companies that want to use them.

Japanese companies: Patent disclosure status

In December 2019, Konica Minolta registered 24 solar thermal power generation / dye-sensitized solar cell technologies.

January 2020,

Panasonic:  25 patents on plasma discharge / water purification.
Canon:  28 plant-based plastic / recycling technologies.
Daikin: 180 air conditioner patents that use refrigerant R32, global warming.
They are open for free in July 2007 and are looking for hires.

It has become a new partner company.

As of the end of November 2019, the number has increased to 90 companies.

By having other companies use the technology, we can contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
