Automatically detect anomalies in real time and display the results concisely

RIKEN Innovation Center for Innovation Intelligent Integration · Cancer Discovery Medical Research Team, RIKEN AIP – Fujitsu Collaboration Center, Showa University School of Medicine Collaborative Research Group have developed a system for automatic detection using AI to realize fetal cardiac anomalies in real time.

The results of this research are expected to support the diagnosis of the fetus and prevent oversight of severe and complicated congenital heart disease that needs immediate treatment, leading to early diagnosis and planning of a careful treatment plan.

Moreover, by filling up the technical gap among examiners and medical disparities between regions, it is thought that it contributes to the development of perinatal period / neonatal medicine.
