Japan · Kashima: Super Ring ® construction method, actual construction confirms that there is no problem
Kajima developed the “Super Ring Construction Method” in 2017.
In this construction method, when constructing a cutting tunnel, we will make a complete precast structure.
In collaboration with Mitsui Sumitomo Corporation, we conducted a construction experiment using the full size segment at Yamato City, Machine Technology Center in Kanagawa Prefecture.
We verified the feasibility of construction flow and confirmed that this construction method can be applied to actual construction without problems.
