Renesas Electronics announced that it will acquire American semiconductor manufacturer (IDT) to strengthen areas such as automatic operation.
The purchase amount is about 733 billion yen, which means that it will be the largest ever as a semiconductor manufacturer(IDT) in the country.
Integrated device technology(IDT) is good at designing and developing semiconductors for communication.
