Renesas: 100% production capacity by the end of May: Fire recovery at Naka factory

On April 19, production resumed at the Naka Factory (Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture), which was shut down due to a fire.
President Hidetoshi Shibata held a press conference online.
In it, he said, “We expect to recover pre-fire production capacity by the end of May.”

“Around 100 days after the fire broke out, it is expected to reach 100% of the product shipments before the fire,” he said.

“It is expected that it will be delayed for 7 to 10 days due to the operating status of the equipment,” he said.
About alternative production:
It is proceeding ahead of schedule.
At present, there is a “prospect that it can be improved up to 98%”.
