Shanghai World Expo Exhibition: “CBME China 2019”

From July 24 to 27, Asia’s largest kid’s, baby & maternity industry exhibition “CBME China 2019” was held.

Organizer announcement:

The total exhibition area is about 290,000 square meters.
More than 3,300 exhibitors
The total number of visitors was 108,067 in 4 days (up 13% from the previous year).
12 Japanese companies exhibited and promoted products to Chinese and foreign buyers.

Postpartum care facilities: “Tsukiko Center”

In China, the peak of marriage and childbirth born in the 1980s and 1990s has arrived.

The baby and maternity market is expanding with the implementation of the “two-child policy”.

There is also a demand for “Tsukiko Center” (Postpartum Care Center) services.

As of June, 1,143 “Tsukiko Center” (Postpartum Care Center) have been established in Shanghai.

The average consumption per resident is 65,239 yuan (about 978,585 yen, 1 yuan = about 15 yen).

In the center of the city of Shanghai, “Japanese brand baby and maternity products are used a lot”.
