RUSSIA: ‘Must take regular medical check-up’ announced: 62 million adults

Russia has recently mandated regular preventive diagnosis and medical checkup for people aged 18 and over, and is focusing on establishing a preventive medical care system (see the article on May 1, 2019).

Russian Federation Government:

July 8th, 2019-2020 announced to conduct a health examination for adults (Federal government instruction (No. 1391-r dated June 27, 2019)

Federal Directive: Health Checkup

Diagnosis will be provided free of charge to the appropriate adult.

People over the age of 18: Preventive diagnosis by doctors every year,
18-39 years old: Once every 3 years
Over 40 years old and wounded military personnel: once every year
The Ministry of Health regulations (March 13, 2019 dated 124th) requiring a medical checkup were enforced.

Deputy Prime Minister Tachiyana Gorikowa:

At the government meeting held on July 8, 62 million people will receive a medical examination in 2019 (the number of medical examinations in 2018: 21 million),

Japanese companies:

In Russia, there is a movement to participate in the medical diagnostic field.

Marubeni: Japan-Russian Preventive Medical Diagnostic Center

June 25 Russian Railways and Khabarovsk signed a memorandum of understanding to establish the Japan-Russian Preventive Medical Diagnostic Center (provisional name).

Kameda General Hospital and Kyushu University Hospital:

Medical institutions in Japan provide education and distance consultation for local healthcare workers.

Providing preventive medical services such as medical checkups, outpatient clinics, imaging diagnosis, and one-day treatment.

It is scheduled to open in October 2021.
