Turkey (ODD): Automobile sales in 2018 plummeted – 620,937 units (down 35.1%)

2018 Domestic Automobile Sales (Retail)
Passenger cars (32.7% down, 486,321 units)
Light commercial vehicles (down 42.3%, 134,616 units)
The unit sales of both vehicles decreased by 35.1% from the previous year to 620,937 units.
Passenger car sales
Sedan: 49.5% (357,736 units)
Hatchback: 28.0% (202,069 units),
SUV: 17.9% (129, 304 units)
Light commercial vehicle sales
VAN: 68.4% (92, 125 units)
Light truck: 12.3% (16,608 units)
Pick up: 10.8% (14,521 units)
Minibus: 8.4% (11,362 units)
By brand (see Attachment Table 1)
Major brands declined by 2 figures across the board, and Honda only increased by 8.5% over the previous year
First place: Renault kept it by 34.1%
Second place: Fiat fell by 41.6%, raised one rank from the previous year,
Volkswagen (VW): It ranked first in 2013 to 2015, but it fell 43.1%.

It fell 35.0% to 641,541 units.
Domestically produced vehicles fell by 32.6% and imported cars fell 36.4%.
The imported car ratio in domestic sales shrunk to 61.9% due to the impact of foreign exchange.
