San Francisco International Airport:
From August 20, the sale of drinking water (Note 1) in disposable containers such as plastic bottles will be banned.
This is the first effort at a major US airport.
After August 20, restaurants in the airport will no longer offer or sell drinking water in plastic bottles or paper containers.
Instead, only water in recyclable aluminum or glass containers is offered and sold.
