Haneda Airport: operation of new flight route: Int’l flights from March 29 next year

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport:
Strengthen the international competitiveness of the Tokyo metropolitan area and accept foreign tourists visiting Japan.
On March 29, 2020, the new flight route is scheduled to begin operation.
At Haneda Airport, we decided to increase the number of international flights approximately 39,000 times a year.
1. Review flight path
Aircraft that take off and land at Haneda Airport will operate on a new flight route only for a certain period of time.
Please refer to Attachment 1 for new flight paths.
2. Increased international flights
In order to smoothly host the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, it is essential to enhance the functions of Haneda Airport and increase international flights.
