On January 14, several Chinese companies were added to export control and investment bans.
It is valid on the same day.
It was officially published in the official bulletin on January 15.
Department of Commerce:
Regarding export control, the Ministry of Commerce is based on the Export Control Regulations (EAR).
China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) on Entity List (EL)
Beijing Tianyu Aviation Industry Investment Company (Skyrizon) on MEU list
Added.
Department of Defense:
Regarding the investment ban, the Department of Defense is based on Article 1237 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 1999.
9 companies including Xiaomi
Communist Chinese military companies
Certified.
Companies that have received this certification are subject to a securities investment ban by Americans (Note 1).

Participating in intimidating acts by the Chinese government to neighboring countries surrounding the South China Sea.
About Skyrizon
Being involved in the development and production of engines for military aircraft.
