A large patrol boat ordered by the Philippine government on July 26.

The launching ceremony was held at Shimonoseki Shipyard (Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture).

Government of Japan Assistance for Government Development (ODA):

The Government of Japan provided construction funds through an Official Development Assistance (ODA) ODA loan.

The Ambassador to Japan also attended the launching ceremony.
