The new patrol boat “Anping” has been commissioned for the Coast Guard Administration (Taiwan Coast Guard).
New patrol boat “Anping”:
“Anping” is the first 600-ton class patrol boat built by Taiwan.
It was built based on the technology of the high-speed missile Corvette “Tuo” for the Taiwan (Republic of China) Navy.
Catamaran water jet:
“Anping” is a catamaran type like “Tuo”.
Characterized by water jet propulsion,
The speed is 35 knots (about 65 km / h),
Equipped with a high-pressure water gun with a range of about 120 m.

Taiwan launches first improved Tuo Chiang-class fast missile corvette
Taiwan’s Lungteh Shipbuilding
has launched the first improved variant of the Tuo Chiang (also spelled Tuo Jiang) class of fast missile corvettes for the Republic of China Navy (RoCN).
Named Ta Chiang (pennant number 619), the vessel entered the water in a ceremony held on 15 December at the company’s facility in Suao, southern Yilan County,
that was presided over by Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen.
