Panasonic: 300 Gh band one chip transceiver development – 80 Gb data transmission per second

Developed 300 GHz band · silicon CMOS integrated circuit,

succeeded for the first time in the world to develop “one chip transceiver” which enables 80 Gbit / sec data transmission .

By greatly improving the data transmission speed as compared with conventional methods and attaining “one chip” essential for practical use,

Practical application of 300 GHz band radio communication has come closer.

The results of this research are presented at the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC)
